Hey everyone! This has been a pretty big week for us! Some of the copies of the first volume of Aikonia are currently over at Tim's for him to sign and they'll be on their way to Katie within the next couple days for her to sign as well!
We've also been doing a lot of work on our other products (MADSOFT Connect, Project: Velyria, Me And My Dinosaur 2) so look forward to some updates from those soon! Until then, enjoy the comic!

Then again, if there WERE and they had SEEN them, then they'd be screwed. So the fact that they haven't seen them doesn't mean they aren't there. Posted on June 25th, 2012 at 02:31AM

I don't think this place needs night time to be scary either. Posted on June 25th, 2012 at 02:58AM Reply

I think it would be really cool either way.
I wonder if those crystal spires are fluorescent? How would you be able to tell? Posted on June 25th, 2012 at 11:47AM

Ya know, I kept imagining those glass crystal trees would be about like shark skin or something. Like its actually consisting of thousands of tiny glass shards all laid over one another like scales sorta and pointing towards the branch tips, like if you ran your fingers over it in the wrong direction, it'd either flay your skin right open or give you loads and loads of small to microscopic splinters. Like I imagined when these things grow, the outmost scales actually sorta opens up and more come out like slowly growing inverse stalactites.

Shows me for overthinking shit I'm not responsible for. :/
I always do this. Posted on June 25th, 2012 at 02:28PM Reply

That's actually pretty awesome sounding. You should overthink things all the time. Maybe the crystals would reproduce via vegetative propagation. When a branch breaks off or a shard falls, it creates a clone of the adult specimen. Now, we just need to poke and prod at Andrew-David and Tim to make it canon. Posted on June 25th, 2012 at 03:59PM
