Hello everyone!
Just wanted to point out that if you live in or near Edmonton, Alberta, you should drop by Animethon! Andrew-David will be there all weekend and we'll have a table in the artist alley where we'll be selling comics and posters! We might also do a couple announcements there, so you'll be there first to know if you come by our table! :)
Have a magnificent week!

Bricks do not create that many bubbles. Wall needs to book it on up that ladder, pronto. Posted on August 5th, 2013 at 01:05AM ReplyCrimsonAzule replied:

If he had to deal with Zubats, he would have already had to face seven of them. I'm sure he's safe from them here. Posted on August 7th, 2013 at 12:23PM? said:
There's no way any life could be down in this ancient abandoned sewer. In fact i'm surprised there's still water draining out of it. Something is just odd about this scene. Posted on August 5th, 2013 at 01:21AM ReplyMattxAus replied:
What, that "he is now walking through a sewer" took 10 frames? As for the whole water thing - water comes in from somewhere, and goes out elsewhere. They probably built the castle on or near a mountain spring, partially diverted the river flow through the castle and now it is draining out. If anything, be surprised there is no lichen or mosses in there. Posted on August 5th, 2013 at 06:24AM

Well, just stumbled upon this site today (okay, I've been following Awkward Zombie for a while), and spent most of the day reading the comics. So... thanks for taking time away from my studying, but now I'm caught up and ready to continue with the lot of you.Awesome work with the comic, by the way. Ooh, he opened his mouth. Not a good move in a sewer.Aaand that ledge does not look remotely threatening, Wall is overreacting. Unless there is the obligatory sewer-octopus-monster lurking in that pool; in which case his caution is fully justified. Posted on August 6th, 2013 at 08:42PM Reply

These could be partially-flooded catacombs, instead of sewers. Castles certainly tend to have some place to leave their important dead people, but sewers are honestly fairly advanced. Most real castles had a long drop instead. To Ira, I really like what you did with the bricks (in panel five especially), in which you had the outline disappear. It actually made the bricks without the outline look darker. I personally would have never thought to do that. Posted on August 7th, 2013 at 12:33PM Reply

With the stonework in that kind of shape, an obviously humid environment, and the known ancientness of the whole place, I wouldn't be trusting those rusty ladder rungs. Posted on August 8th, 2013 at 07:21PM ReplyRyan said:
Not sure if there are any 8-bit theater fans out there but the creator of it, Brian Clevenger, has a kickstarter going on for his Atomic Robo comic. It ends in 6 hours.www.kickstarter.com/projects/tesladyne/atomic-robo-needs-you-tesladyne-recruitment-drive/comments
