Hmm. Ominous orange glowing eyes in the dark. I am sensing a definite pattern. Posted on September 16th, 2013 at 02:57PM ReplyFaenhir said:
So... did Gerld die? Surely the adventurers went to his aid? I was looking forward to seeing the bardan slicing up some beetles :( Posted on September 16th, 2013 at 08:06PM ReplyChimeric replied:
Do you see him in the top banner? Posted on September 17th, 2013 at 04:32AMFettuccini replied:
They presumably left him to die at the hands of the giant beetles and are now joking casually about his horrible death. Posted on September 17th, 2013 at 05:56AMFaenhir replied:
@Chimeric No, but nor do I see the blond guy carrying all their stuff. I just meant that these adventurers don't seem like the type to just leave a man to die like that :/ Posted on September 17th, 2013 at 08:24AMAndrew-David replied:
@Faenhir The mule is actually in the header, carrying a huge backpack and facing away on the left side. Take another look. Posted on September 17th, 2013 at 02:56PMFaenhir replied:
... even knowing that he's there, I still can't see him. Maybe cause the bardan's sword is in the way? I always thought it was some kind of covered wagon. I feel quite imperceptive now :P Posted on September 17th, 2013 at 07:06PMSheikah replied:
Don't. There isn't actually anything to see besides the backpack (I think). Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 02:08AMTim replied:
I just didn't want to make Ira draw Gerld's Gruesome Gibblets all over the next page so I ended that story there. Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 10:00AMName replied:
@Tim The transition is really clunky. I was expecting some sort of a fight scene, but it makes it seem like they all just left him for dead with no explanation for why (Too many? Too dangerous? Trouble getting over the rocks?) I hadn't taken it to be their character to just abandon someone. Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 11:13AMFaenhir replied:
Bonus points for the alliteration, Tim :PAt least we might get to see a fight scene with these wolves Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 09:10PM

Adventuring Group not trying to save the guy who took their lousy pay and guided them to ancient ruins? That's a smiting!
Unless Gerid now comes back as the summoner of Daemons, Wolves, Bears, Daemonwolves, Wolfbears and Wolfdaemonbears. Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 07:03AM Reply

I'd really hate to see him summon Dameons. The last Dameon I met was a jerk. Now Demons, I'd be afraid of them. Posted on September 18th, 2013 at 02:57PM

That is what happens when you don't stay with the group. That is basic school field trip stuff. If you don't stay with your group or at least a safety buddy, giant monstrous beetles will eat you alive. Posted on September 28th, 2013 at 07:19PMPhasma Felis said:
Wait, that's it? "And then we sat back and watched Gerld get ripped apart by giant beetles, The End?" Did I miss a page or something? Posted on October 3rd, 2014 at 04:49AM Reply
