Journal Entry #12

Hey everyone!
We'll be back to posting regular Aikonia pages soon! But instead of rushing these journal entries to make sure they end before we return to our regular Aikonia schedule, we were thinking of continuing at a steady pace and posting them every Thursday alongside the regular pages. Maybe in a different section of the site? The two stories are definitely connected and we're excited to reach the point where they connect, but we really don't want to rush it. What are your thoughts? Let us know!
Don't forget to check back on Thursday for another page! And have a great week :)

Yeeeessssss, more, MORE!
I love the style of the journals but I can't help but wonder what happened to our trio of treasure hunters.
I keep wondering how exactly the two stories will converge together.

Seems like a good way of handling it to me.

I look forward to seeing both continuing! Posted on October 7th, 2014 at 11:11AM Reply

Yeah sure. This was starting to get interesting anyway. But I also can't wait to see what will be happening to our old friends. Especially since when you left them they were in danger. Posted on October 7th, 2014 at 11:25AM Reply

Bonus pages are always a bonus! Love the Idea of a spin-off to keep track of at the same time of the comic arc, but How will you handle them at the archive level? Will each comic have a spin-off button? Posted on October 8th, 2014 at 09:08AM Reply

I think we'll just store them on a separate page entirely. Similar to Ctrl+Alt+Del's "Sillies" or VG Cat's "Super Effective." They'll still show up in the RSS feed, but they won't appear on the homepage, you'll just read them on a different page of the website :) Posted on October 8th, 2014 at 11:08PM

I think I like that idea. It'll make it a little easier to keep track of that way! and the idea of making a book of the journal entries would be awesome as well! Especially if you have it made to look aged [or make that a pre-order special] Posted on October 11th, 2014 at 07:22PM

If you want to continue the journal, could you make a book in the store for all of the journal pages? Posted on October 9th, 2014 at 10:43AM Reply

If you were to make this into book form, staining the book wit coffee and holding the paper's edge over a candle briefly will give the pages a worn and aged effect. An extra effect could be to give each page extra stains (the golden river's water, juices from the cooked fungus, the centicat/cat beast's purple blood) or burn marks (the electricity from the corrupt student), each stain pertaining to each entry's events.
