Hey everyone!
I recently noticed that some of you are not aware of the journal entries, so I thought I'd post a quick blurb on the homepage to point out that we post journal entries every Thursday and you can access them by clicking the "Journal" link the the navigation header at the top of the site. This week's page is right here!

This page was simultaneously great and a huge pain to work on. I love being able to really spread out a bit and give a scene some depth and room to breathe, but good lord I think there must be at least 300 books in this scene. Oh my god. It was certainly an experience, and I hope you folks enjoy the resulting page!

Ugh, I know what you mean, establishing shots are evil, you need them to show the audience the setting, but the time to draw all the repetitive details. You have way more patience than me though, I would be banging my head against the table if I had to draw all those books. Posted on January 19th, 2015 at 02:24PM ReplyIra replied:
Thanks! Actually what happened was a friend told me a work story that got me pretty mad and I literally drew all those books fuelled by a boatload of righteous anger on her behalf. I'm not sure how I'd have managed it otherwise, it would definitely have been 100% tedium XD Posted on January 19th, 2015 at 02:39PMMetal C0Mmander said:
So I was right! There really was only one dumb pirate attacking them. Posted on January 19th, 2015 at 03:22PM ReplyMaverick_Mentation said:
And said pirate has gone and knocked over all of the red healing potions. Great. Posted on January 20th, 2015 at 06:36AM ReplyTim the Enchanter said:
Looks like the original story line is about to become very relevant. Looks exciting. Posted on January 21st, 2015 at 12:40AM ReplyTrigger said:
Some of those books on the shelves make me think of little lizardy sock puppets! Look for the ones with dots or unfinished lines depicting the creases of the books. Posted on January 21st, 2015 at 11:10AM ReplyDoctorslime said:
Do we assume the unfortunate Pirate is Dead? They don't seem to be worrying about him? That distance looks like two broken legs unless he mashed his head in, looks like he went in feet first which might have given him an option at survival... Considering the amount of blood surrounding her body, I don´t think she´s alive Posted on January 25th, 2015 at 12:11PMDoctorslime said:
