btw, I think the very plain, black and white faces for the comments section look way better than the new faces with the Nike-lookin eyebrows. And the lines in the hair are done sooo weird... go back and compare it to chapters 4 & 5... it looks fine without them!

I'm sorry you feel this way. The new aesthetic harks back to the cartoony art style we had during the first 4 chapters of Aikonia. We've always thought that the contrast between the simplistic, colourful art style and the darker, drama-filled storyline makes the comic more approachable and interesting to read.
Of course, David is still getting used to illustrating Aikonia and you will see his work improve as he gets more familiar with the characters and setting. However, if this art style is not your cup of tea, then I'm not sure how you read through the first majority of the comic before we switched to Karina's painted art style.
