Assuming all of this that Ariel is in fact possessed or have her body taken over by some other being (which is kinda obvious with "her" not knowing what a dream is), it would have no way of knowing about Tenora.

Must be a sign that Solaris does not like. Either the memories are fusing of the two beings in the body, or whatever evil being inside is losing its grip on "Ariel's" body.

Could be that whatever Solaris has planned for "Ariel" is now having a definitive time limit and a short one, that something bad (for Solaris's plans or the being "Ariel") will happen in the very near future. Perhaps Solaris believed that the consciousness of Ariel was forever lost, because any such spell was not performed on a mage as powerful as Ariel and flashes of her consciousness is not expected.

Hmm... I hate the fact that Ariel is possessed, but the changes that are manifesting from it are so intriguing... Plus, I'm starting to forget Ariel was anything BUT possessed, considering how shortly into the comic she was.
