Nope, check the previous pages and the cast page.

Channelers and casters don't need to connect in any way, the channeler can stream energy to a caster without their consent. Also, a binder is the mage class that can both channel and cast magic, so having a channeler around them is unnecessary. Posted on January 26th, 2012 at 10:59AM

As for yours, Kjakings, Binders don't need channelers, you're thinking about casters. And it will allow the caster to cast more powerful spells that require a lot more energy, but that's about it. Posted on January 26th, 2012 at 04:27PM
