Hello Everyone!
We had an amazing weekend this week, we met so many amazing people, talented artists, and awesome readers. We ended up giving away over 720 stickers! Also, this week marks the first year anniversary of Aikonia (August 16th to be exact) and we can't believe we've actually been going on for a whole year! You're all so amazing and thank you so much for sticking with us all the way! We have a lot planned for the comic and we're really looking forward to sharing it all with you :)

We hope you had a great week :)
We're not sure if you've noticed, but we've removed the "Advertise" link from the navbar and replaced it by a "Members" link. That page is not complete yet, but we're hoping to get it done by the end of August. It will feature all kinds of exclusive stuff such as original artwork (like maps, characters, creatures, sketches, and more), documents and PDFs, and exclusive goodies that won't be in the donation section of the site. All those will help expand the world of Aikonia.
Also, this is a final reminder that we'll be attending Otakuthon in Montreal this coming weekend (August 12 -> 14) and if you're planning on going, you should look for us! We'll be giving away stickers :D

Now, on a more serious note, I'm sure some of you have heard about the famine happening in Somalia right now. A lot of people are donating to help out and we decided to help out as well. So, during this entire week (until the next page is released), 100% of the donations we receive will be sent to The Humanitarian Coalition to help Somalia!
"But why donate through Aikonia instead of straight to them?" you ask? Because, remember, whenever our donation meter is filled, we unlock a free goodie for you (and you get some exclusive goodies when you donate $5 or more)! You can take advantage of that. Hello Everyone!
So, last week we launched the new cast page! It combined the team members and cast members into one area and separated them into categories. We also started writing biographies for the cast members. They don't all have biographies yet, but we'll be releasing them as we write them. Currently, the ones for Cyril, Syd, Enceladus, and Mar are available. Let us know what you think!
Also, please keep in mind that you can vote for Aikonia once a day, and you can donate if you're awesome and love what we do :)
Oh and one more thing, as mentioned last week, we'll be attending Otakuthon this year (August 12->14), so if any of you are planning on going, look for us! We'll be giving away free stickers! :D

So, we're working on a new cast page, writing new descriptions and making it a lot fancier and easy to use :)
We're planning on having it done by Wednesday, so keep an eye open for that!
Also, if any of our readers are in, or close to, Montreal and are planning on going to Otakuthon, you should keep an eye open for us! We'll have an awesome illustrated ad for Aikonia on the first page of the Otakuthon magazine (which we'll soon release as a purchasable poster) and we're gonna be giving out free stickers to all our readers!
