Aikonia is finally back! Like before, we'll be posting new pages every Monday. At the same time, we'll have journal entries every Thursdays and maybe previews on Wednesdays. We'll do our best to keep that consistent!

I just want to mention that we launched Avillum's new website and Legacy Version yesterday! So if you like trading card games and fantasy card battles, you should totally check it out!

This is a very last minute Halloween illustration featuring characters from several of MADSOFT's properties, including Aikonia! You'll notice your favourite cast of Aikonian adventurers appearing in the middle of the illustration as the classic Universal monsters! You can check out (and reblog ;) the full sized illustration on the MADSOFT blog right here!

Also, regular Aikonia pages will be back on the 10th of November, so mark your calendars! We'll continue posting journal entries until then and, after we're back to posting regular pages, the journal entries will be posted in a separate section of the website once a week :)

Our company, MADSOFT Games, has been selected to appear at this year's Launch Party event as part of Edmonton Startup Week, and we have a ton of things to finish with only two days left before the event! Click here to read the official announcement on our blog.

Not much to talk about today, but I do want to point out that Tim has been working on a game called "SciAnts" with Tile Isle and they just announced that they will be doing a round of closed alpha testing on Android devices. If you own an Android mobile device, you should go check out the post and apply!

We'll be back to posting regular Aikonia pages soon! But instead of rushing these journal entries to make sure they end before we return to our regular Aikonia schedule, we were thinking of continuing at a steady pace and posting them every Thursday alongside the regular pages. Maybe in a different section of the site? The two stories are definitely connected and we're excited to reach the point where they connect, but we really don't want to rush it. What are your thoughts? Let us know!

They were also at the Pixelpop Festival in St. Louis where they had some of their games on display.

Everyone, thank you for your kind words of support and your inquiries about my health! I am doing much better now, and while there's still a lot of bloodwork and medication-balancing and all sorts of other fun stuff left to do, I'm definitely in a better place. While I was out having my medical misadventures, my computer also unfortunately up and died. That has also now been remedied, and I can get back to building up that buffer and getting y'all regularly scheduled pages again.

Just a little update!
I wasn't too pleased with the way the page turned out. The text did not feel like it was really part of the page, so I updated it to look more natural. I also added a signature, so our character now has a name :)

Sorry we were on hiatus for so long :(
Although, technically, we still are on hiatus, since we're still taking some time to build a page buffer. In the meantime though, we're going to be posting these journal entries! Can you guess when the events of this story take place? ;)
