And the people that will show up first I will guess will be band of adventurers who ignore warnings for treasure just like the Dovahkiin in Skyrim always does. Posted on June 17th, 2013 at 12:19AM Reply

Ah sir but you forget to realize dovahkiin doesn't heed any warnings because he/she's dovahkiin aka the player meaning he's immortal because all the player has to do is change some errors that were made in the past after a death and he/she can continue on there way living with no consequence.

TLDR: Dovahkiin's not a good example. Posted on June 17th, 2013 at 09:54PM

In all fairness, that's actually one of the better warning signs I've seen... I mean, at least it tells you what it is. And when to maybe never open it. Because when things are just labeled "DANGER! DO NOT TOUCH!" that's has exactly the same effect as "DELICIOUS FUDGE HERE!" Posted on June 17th, 2013 at 10:04AM Reply

I like the warning. It is short, specific, and to the point. No problems should arise until the language it is written in becomes lost. Then it will be mistranslated to read something like "Warning, may contain pure and unbridled awesome . . . Also punch and pie." Posted on June 17th, 2013 at 01:34PM Reply

*Cue. And I think adventurers are more likely to go exploring lost ruins than evil villains are. Posted on June 19th, 2013 at 04:23AM

Maybe there were no guests willing to do comics? Or maybe they just forgot. Posted on June 18th, 2013 at 06:48AM
Undecided

It was too short notice. We usually contact guest artists a month or two in advance. This time, it was a little less than a week. Posted on June 18th, 2013 at 05:58PM

I like this comic, but I swear if the next installment comes up, and a group of Scottish archeologists come upon the location, and it turns out "It was ancient Earth all along!", I'm going to be cross. :P Posted on June 17th, 2013 at 10:38PM Reply

Am i missing something? is the art style different, or is that just my perception?
and yeah, jeez, whatever happened to hiding stuff in plain sight - totally should have hidden dangerous objects in a giant water fountain marble statue in the kings castle - no one would look at it twice, you know, aside from "wow. cool fountain bro. i mean ser king ser" Posted on June 18th, 2013 at 08:50AM Reply

Ira is still the illustrator here, maybe it seems different because it's just landscape shots for the most part? Posted on June 18th, 2013 at 05:59PM

MattxAus replied:
hmm i guess so (for the landscape-ness)

as for the "second part" - things hidden in plain sight are more likely to be overlooked, yeah? cool stuff and warning signs in the middle of nowhere/hidden are more likely to be noticed and remembered. (dont worry, it doesnt matter, just amused at the whole stereotype/trope around that) Posted on June 21st, 2013 at 10:58AM

They picked a bad spot for that sign, its going to be covered up by forest and it is too far away to be easily associated with that ruin.
