We're happy to introduce the adventurers! We'll be posting special bios for each adventurer throughout the next couple weeks on our Facebook page, so make sure you follow us on there! And don't forget to check back on Wednesday for a preview of next week's page :D

Katie did not design the character. The adventurers were originally designed by Jose Jimenez III, our executive producer, and Katie illustrated them in her own style afterwards.We decided to name that particular character "Katherine," or "Kat" for short, as a sort of tribute/wink to Katie. The two do not share any traits and the character is not meant to be a representation of Katie in any way, the name is the only thing they have in common. Posted on June 24th, 2013 at 03:37PM

I was expecting something hilarious. But no, it looks great. You should totally do a guest week or something. The art style would work great with oldish ink + quill and splotches styles drawing, like the intro to borderlands (the story time part, not the cars hitting/being hit by things) id think. Actually, I think we might be nearing the end of the comic, since the part with the adventurers is obviously the bit you're supposed to play in the game. We'll probably get to the part where the party meets the kid who's the PC ( http://aikoniacomic.com/files/goodies/aikonia_adventurers_wallpaper.png ), and then the comic will end and the game will be released.
